If anyone wants a session of introduction
to Chakras with movement, please let me know!

Please Join me Wednesday evening at the Rice Lake Public
Library at 7:00pm for an introduction to~~~

The Seven Main Chakras

Chakra means “wheel”in Sanskrit language, and charkas are the centers where energy can flow into the body. These are like ‘Wheels of Spinning Energy”. This energy is like the electricity all around us. Taken from a brochure at Midelfort Clinic
about EKG ECG EMG testing: These tests check the electric impulses in certain areas of our bodies (energy areas). Nerve & muscle cells produce tiny amounts of electricity. Nerves send electrical signals to muscles telling them to contract or relax.
When we move, muscles produce more electrical activity.

Moving around our energy centers (Chakras) all along and around our spine, keeps us in harmony with the natural elements of nature and ourselves.
Please join us in an introduction to the Chakras using:

WAOH around the CHAKRAS
WAOH meaning Water Air Oxygen & Opening your Heart
Wear comfortable clothing for movements that help open up tight and tense
areas of your body with fluid movements using your breath, body, mind & spirit.

I will briefly give an explanation of each of the seven charkas with a movement you may want to use to help encourage the energy center of that part of your body. When you practice Yoga, you move all around your whole spine creating more balance and harmony throughout your energy system. Join Lynda in a regular Yoga class.

1. Root Chakra
At the base of the spine—Rules survival.
Tai Chi
Ex. (Slow motion throwing a Frisbee)

2. Sacral or Polarity Chakra
Located in the pelvis below belly button—Thoughts & beliefs concerning desire, appetites & creativity.
Belly Dance, Hula

3. Solar Plexius Chakra
Right near the naval area below the ribs—Rules vital energy, power & control.
Tai Kwon Doe, Kick Boxing

4. Heart Chakra
Right over your heart—Rules love, peace and healing.
Movements that open & close your chest
Ex. When you exhale, you hug your arms together in front of your body— and
When you inhale bring your arms out to the sides like you are welcoming your favorite person into your heart.

5. Throat Chakra
Over your throat area—Thoughts & beliefs about communication with the world and others.
Sing, use vibrations in your throat---drumming

6. Third Eye Chakra
Located right in between your eyes as if you have a ‘3rd’ eye—meaning intuition or instruction.
Say affirmations out loud or to yourself, notice beauty around you~notice all

7. Crown Chakra
Located on top of your head—meaning that which is beyond us—your faith—your religion—your God—your beliefs of the unknown.
Visualize, use your infinite energies to know the unknown or to experience the meaning of life.

Become aware of yourself and ask:
“Who is this in me?”
Experience being one~~~blissful with knowing you are safe and loved with all your cleansed beliefs and energies and be grateful to be immersed in this warm glowing beauty of your true self. You are perfect, whole and complete
